Isn't my sister's baby adorable??? Maggie Grace is here and she is sweet as ever! I had the blessing of holding her over Easter break. She's over a month old now! Time goes by so quick. Well-my husband and I will have our own little one this November. That's right-I'm pregnant! We are ten weeks and a day along. That makes our due date November 11th. Of course, how reliable are due dates really? Supposedly only 10% of babies are actually born on their due date. :) What that actually means is that my poor husband will have final exams shortly after the week we are due. I think he can do it and still do well, but it will definitely be a challenge! Regardless, we are very excited and would appreciate any prayer!
We have been and will continue to be on our knees as we seek the Lord and His counsel on how in the world to be a parent! :) The day we found out we were pregnant, the Lord had us read these verses from Psalm 128:
Psalm 128
A song of ascents.
A song of ascents.
1 Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
who walk in his ways.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your sons will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Thus is the man blessed
4 Thus is the man blessed
who fears the LORD.
5 May the LORD bless you from Zion
5 May the LORD bless you from Zion
all the days of your life;
may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem,
6 and may you live to see your children's children.
6 and may you live to see your children's children.
Peace be upon Israel.
He is soooo good to His children! Praise the Lord!
